“Nothing is without, nothing is within; for what is without is within.” [Herman Hesse, Within and Without]
Strange as it may sound, this is the secret to all magic. The trees, the sky, the rocks, everything is me (and you). Summon up the past, present, future; all are in me (and you).
It is heaven to interchange the without and the within, not by compulsion, not in anguish but freely, voluntarily.
So far I have been a slave of the within but I am slowly learning to be its master, learning to be expansive, learning to feel the oneness of all things and all beings.
Not everything can be explained through reasoning. I have been beyond opposites.
In my search for solace, comfort and reassurance, the straightforward serenity and lucidity of this experience is all I could wish for. Nothing is without, nothing is within; for what is without is within.
